On August 6, Kansas City filled the Grand Plaza for tastings, craft cocktails, folklórico and dancing across the cuisines of Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
Comida is the signature fundraiser of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every ticket, sponsorship and auction bid funds scholarships, mentorships and community programs for Hispanic students, young professionals and families year-round.
What makes Comida special is that it brings people together in a way that a traditional fundraiser really doesn’t.
